Please keep a safe distance from all wild animals and livestock.
Be especially careful not to disturb animals and birds during the breeding season.
Keep your dog on a lead
Visiting dogs are often seeing sights and discovering scents that are new to them. It is quite common that they behave differently to when they’re on their home territory and they can bolt when they see strange animals. Most turn up after a few days of stressful searching; some are never found (in the meantime they can be causing immeasurable damage to wildlife and livestock). Please keep your dog on a lead at all times.
